I’m a big fan of versatile apparel. I like to wear tactical pants when i’m out in the field training, and during my regular day to day. Unless i’m going for a gray man appearance, or at a professional occasion. You will normally find me wearing something along the lines of these.
Tactical pants provide a lot of options. I tend to carry a lot of EDC (Every Day Carry) so need something that’s got more options than your typical blue jeans, and i’m always doing rough things so I need something more durable. Like I said though. If you’re not going for the “Tactical” look, you might consider a lower profile option.
These things are incredibly durable, and water resistant. They also have a lot of options. My favorite part being the slender side sleeve pockets, and the dividers in the main cargo pockets. They provide the ability to securely stow magazines for your CCW. They might even hold AR mags.
I made a list of all my favorite tactical pants and found some good deals for you.
- Tru-Spec Tactical Pants (This is a good deal but you can occasionally find them cheaper. These do ACTUALLY have the knee cut out on the inside for an insert if you want to have some reinforcement.)
- 5.11 Tactical Pants (These are normally a bit more expensive but this is a super deal.)
- Vertex Phantom Tactical Pants (These have a concealed zipper pocket.)
- Rothco BDU Tactical Pants (These are more on the cheap and basic end but still decent.)
- Blackhawk Tactical Pants (Basic but rugged. Similar to Tru-Spec.)
- Reebow Gear Tactical Pants (These are a little more high end with a really nice design and zipper pockets.)

Have a black pair that are just great, there some of the best pants I can say I’ve gotten for lest the 50 bucks. there my typical pant on a weekend out in the field or on the range
