It’s that time of the year again where we show our significant others our love and appreciation. It goes without saying that time and attention are the two most cherished gifts you can give to anybody, especially your partner in life. However, some people struggle to find something that won’t break the bank and actually be useful or desirable when it comes to gifts. To help with that, I put together a list of some of my favorite things, and maybe it will give you some inspiration. Here are my top 5 gift ideas for men.
5 Gift Ideas For Men: #1 – EDC Essentials
Most of us men are pretty obsessed with our EDC (Everyday Carry). We can’t get enough of it either. Some of us even carry an EDC backpack regularly for the overflow and less critical items. Whether it’s a new knife, a keychain, wallet, hank, lighter, flashlight, or a watch, you really can’t go wrong here. We want it all, lol. Even things that are not really “Survival” or preparedness oriented. Such as pens, decks of cards, USB drives, cool rings/necklaces, sunglasses, etc. Here’s a video on my personal EDC to give you some inspiration.

#2 – Backpacks
Most of us men are suckers for good bags and packs. From daily carry bags to long term survival packs. When it comes to gift ideas for men, you really can’t go wrong here either. For a lot of us, we’re always on the hunt for the perfect pack, and it seems to be a never-ending mission. I’ve spent thousands of dollars and personally have a pretty large collection of bags that I rotate throughout the seasons for EDC, bushcraft training, and just long term bug-out bags. Here are a few of my all-time favorite packs.

#3 – An EDC Tray
Like I said… We love our EDC. We also need places to put it when we’re not carrying it around, and not everything goes in our bags. We need somewhere to dump our pockets, and this awesome handmade wooden EDC tray is a great option. We laser engraved it with our logo and motto, “Bellum Gerere,” Which means “Wage War” in English.
#4 – Gift Ideas For Men – Knowledge
See, we real men are natural providers and protectors. Therefore we are always seeking new knowledge and skills. Books are always a great option, but you need to know how your man likes to consume them—physical, audio, or e-book. I am going to go ahead and plug my book right here because, well, it’s a great damn book, and it’s perfect for the modern man looking to be a better provider and prepare his family. It’s called “The Primal Method: A Strategic Approach To Preparedness For The Modern Age,” and it might just be the best gift you could ever give anyone. Sure, I am a little biased, but it really is some life-altering information, and it’s available in all formats directly through Amazon.
#5 – The Triple Tap Steel Target System
I don’t even need to tell you how much we men love our guns. You probably love them too. Beyond the gun, we need to train with them as well. Range time can get expensive, but if you have access to a little bit of land, you can bring the range to you with a reactive steel target system from our friends over at Spartan Armor Systems. They break down and store quickly and easily and are some of the best targets to use. You get that audible confirmation of hits, unlike paper targets, so it also saves you time. Check out my review below! They have various target systems too. The Triple Tap is just my favorite.
