When it comes to battery banks there’s no shortage of options on the market. However, most of them are terrible quality. They either don’t hold up to abuse, or they don’t hold power and charge like they should. In search of the a solid portable charging solution I came across this awesome company called Dark Energy. They have designed a battery bank so robust that it really stands in a category of it’s own.

You heard me. This battery bank is a tank. It’s waterproofed inside and out, drop proof, and can work in any condition you put it in. Hell, they’ve even taken a shotgun to it and it still worked. I was skeptical, I won’t lie. But after getting my hands on it I can definitely attest to it’s durability and quality.
I keep one right inside my Camera Gear Kit. It essentially gives me enough juice in the field to keep me powered for up to a week before needing to refill the battery bank. It was originally designed for hunters and wildlife photographers who would go out into the wilderness for days and weeks at a time, but it works great for anyone. It makes for a great EDC (Every day carry) item.
Even the packaging of this thing is phenomenal.
The charging cables are equally unique. They come wrapped in 20ft of Paracord, and you can get them in Micro USB, as well as Lightning.

This battery bank will replace all the crappy ones you’ve tried. Personally, I’m probably going to buy 3-4 more of these things over time to put in my packs, vehicles, caches, and even put one in a faraday cage or something.
